  2.  THE DALEKS' MASTERPLAN.   Written by Terry Nation and Dennis Spooner   12 ep

  6.  Counterplot, Coronas of the Sun, The Feast of Steven, Volcano,

  9.  COMPANIONS:- Steven, Katarina and introducing Sara Kingdom.

  11.    It is many months since the events of MISSION TO THE UNKNOWN. 
  12.    The Doctor lands on Kembel and encounters a new patrol led by Bret Vyon
  13.  (played by Nicholas Courtney). The Doctor finds Marc Cory's tape which
  14.  details the Dalek plan and he and Vyon set out to warn Earth. 
  15.    Mavic Chen, Guardian of the Solar System, betrays Earth by giving the
  16.  Daleks a taranium element which they use to power their weapon, the Time
  17.  Destructor. The Doctor steals the element but is unable to warn Earth as
  18.  Chen has branded him and his companions traitors. Sara Kingdom kills Vyon,
  19.  her own brother, for his supposed treachery. The Daleks persue the Doctor
  20.  to recover the element and Katarina kills herself to prevent a blackmail
  21.  bid against the Doctor.
  22.    The persuit ends on the planet Tigus where the Doctor meets his old foe,
  23.  the Meddling Monk, who betrays him to the Daleks. Back on Kembel, the
  24.  Doctor is forced to operate the Time Destructor but turns it against the
  25.  Daleks, destroying them. Sara Kingdom, who joined the Doctor after learning
  26.  of Chen's deception, is also killed.
  27.    This was the longest story in Dr Who history until TRIAL OF A TIME LORD
  28.  in 1986. The story featured a special Christmas Day pantomime episode.
  29.    This episode, THE FEAST OF STEVEN, was the first ever Dr Who episode to
  30.  be destroyed.
